Patient Access Representative - 80 hours per pay period

80 hours per pay period / Non-Exempt, 9:00am - 5:30pm. Union position (Local 113). Travel may be required to branch clinics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients in person, by phone, or through electronic correspondence
• Handle patient referrals and scheduling
• Update and manage patient information
• Check patients in and out
• Act as a liaison to report patient suggestions to management
• Serve as switchboard backup

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills and experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to think independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate positively with others
• Receptionist experience preferred
