Patient Access Representative 1 - Clinic

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently registers patients in Epic
• Maintains and manages the flow of patients through the clinic
• Monitors and reviews patient accounts to determine financial responsibility
• Arranges payment plans for collected amounts
• Assists patients with accessing government and community health resources
• Facilitates referrals to other providers and services
• Ensures accurate updates to patient records
• Enters and updates charges as necessary
• Supports clinic and hospital initiatives for operational improvements
• Manages cash transactions according to policies
• Meets site-specific performance goals

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role
• Graduate of a front office/medical office program
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience
