About the Role
A Lead Patient Access Clerk is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for maintaining and leading patient intake areas. This role ensures proper billing of patient accounts and serves as a primary contact for patients regarding their treatment and billing issues.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify patient information for accurate billing and contact purposes.
- Provide customer service and cashier services.
- Explain insurance benefits to patients.
- Generate and review daily reports.
