Patient Access Registrar - PRN

Role: Patient Access Registrar responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, and payment collection in outpatient labs and radiology areas. Key Duties: Register patients using Epic, verify insurance, collect payments, and obtain necessary signatures and consents. Interact courteously with patients and staff, greet visitors, and ensure accurate data entry. Handle cash drawer operations, explain financial options, and refer patients to financial assistance programs. Maintain an organized registration area and communicate effectively with team members and management. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma preferred, with knowledge of insurance processes, order transcription, and strong people skills. Ability to work in high-stress environments and handle sensitive information accurately and professionally.
