About the role

Serves as patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements, and processes patient payments. Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 1 year of experience in one of the following:
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required
  • Clinical role Required
  • Related clerical, accounting, finance, or retail Required
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience Preferred
• Prior Epic experience Preferred

Qualifications

• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
