About the role
This position is dedicated to providing Peer Recovery Support services to individuals at the Pathways Peer Center.
Responsibilities
- Offer outreach, support, and advocacy in assisting participants to access mental health services, substance use recovery supports, employment, and other community resources.
- Facilitate groups at the center and assist with creating individualized Recovery, Resilience, and Wellness plans.
- Create unique opportunities for community engagement with individuals one on one.
Requirements
- Have lived experience in utilizing mental health services.
- Experience with recovery from substance use is preferred.
- Gain registration as a Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) through the Board of Professions within one year of hire.
- Have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Qualifications
The applicant must be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
Pay
Salary commensurate with education and experience as it relates to this position.
