Pathology Grossing Tech
About the role
The Pathology Grossing Technician supports hospital Anatomic Pathology operations by receiving, verifying, accessioning, preparing and processing/grossing surgical pathology specimens. Responsibilities include supporting frozen section and intraoperative consultation workflows, assisting Pathologists and Pathologists' Assistants during grossing, and—once qualified and competency documented—performing approved routine low-complexity grossing within department scope.

- Perform cryotomy
- Use LAB LIS/Epic systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science or Laboratory Science
Pay
The compensation range for this position is $29.93 per hour – $51.48 per hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
