Job Summary

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their North Texas Division is seeking an Associate Pathologist to be based at Medical City Arlington in Arlington, TX.

About the Role

The practice consists of three full-time pathologists with PRN for PTO coverage. Case volumes: 7k annual at Arlington (2500 at North Hills).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pathology services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals and commercial clients.
• Work closely with physician partners to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.
• Perform frozen sections and provide clinical interpretations.
• Manage case volumes of approximately 13 cases per day.

Requirements

• AP/CP board certification is required.
• At least two years of practicing experience preferred.
• Sub-specialty preferred.
• Proficiency in breast, general surgical pathology, clinical interpretations, and recent experience performing frozen sections.

Qualifications

• Must have recent experience performing frozen sections.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing.

Skills

• Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
