About the role

IU Health's Pathology Laboratory in downtown Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Pathologists' Assistant. This position offers a diverse and complex specimen case load, primarily focusing on surgical pathology specimens from the adult populations within the system.

Responsibilities

• Surgical pathology specimen grossing
• Interaction with Pathology residents
• Frozen section for the adult patient population within the system

Qualifications

• Trained in a NAACLS accredited pathologists' assistant program with ASCP board certification
• Open to new graduates; 1 year experience preferred
• Ability to bring a high level of personal integrity and a willingness to collaborate with staff physicians and co-workers
