About the role
Seattle Children’s is seeking a Pathologist to provide comprehensive anatomic services and expert clinical consultation across our medical and surgical subspecialties.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary resource for attending physicians, nursing, and ancillary teams regarding anatomic and clinical pathology.
Ensure high-quality patient care aligned with Seattle Children’s goals, vision, and philosophy.
Support the hospital’s academic mission through teaching and research.
Commitment to integrating pathology services into a multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare environment.
Required Education/Experience
MD Degree.
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pathology.
Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington.
Meet the Academic Rank eligibility requirements for Assistant Professor in the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
Required Credentials
Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington.
Maintain medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
Preferred
At least three (3) years clinical experience in Pediatric Pathology.
Compensation Range
$299,544.00 - $539,179.00 per year
