Pathologist
About the role
Join a collegial team of 3 Pathologists, 1 Hematopathologist, and 1 Pathologist Assistant. Full-time hospital-employed position with a stable, long-standing group. Primarily lab-based role with no inpatient rounding. Epic EMR utilized across hospital and outpatient settings. Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with 1:4 home call rotation (rarely called in).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Make a meaningful impact on patient care.
- Work in a modern laboratory with diverse and interesting caseloads (~14,000 surgical cases annually).
- Minimal autopsy volume (2 last year), but willingness required if contracted support unavailable.
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology.
- Experience in a hospital-based setting preferred.
- Willingness to perform minimal autopsy work if contracted support unavailable.
