PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join a growing team at a busy regional medical center in Macon, GA. This position is eligible for J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship.
About the Role
- Full-time, hospital-based position offering a diverse case mix and strong collegial support
- Wide case variety including general surgical pathology and cytopathology
- No autopsy requirement
- Mentorship opportunities and subspecialty support available through PathGroup’s broader network
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality initiatives
Responsibilities
- General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out
- Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consultations
- Clinical pathology oversight and quality assurance
- Participation in tumor boards and interdisciplinary discussions

- Serves as a major regional referral center in Central Georgia
- CAP-accredited laboratory with on-site histology and cytology support
