PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join a growing team at a busy regional medical center in Macon, GA. This position is eligible for J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship.

About the Role

  • Full-time, hospital-based position offering a diverse case mix and strong collegial support
  • Wide case variety including general surgical pathology and cytopathology
  • No autopsy requirement
  • Mentorship opportunities and subspecialty support available through PathGroup’s broader network
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality initiatives

Responsibilities

  • General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out
  • Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consultations
  • Clinical pathology oversight and quality assurance
  • Participation in tumor boards and interdisciplinary discussions

  • Serves as a major regional referral center in Central Georgia
  • CAP-accredited laboratory with on-site histology and cytology support
