About the Role

The role of PRN Milieu Coordinator will have a shift that will vary based on department necessity. PRN MC will work at the Child and Adolescent Program between the hours of 7am-7:30pm Monday Through Friday. The shifts with the Adult Program will vary, IOP will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-12pm or 4pm-8pm. The PHP Adult program will require the hours of 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates curriculum-based groups
• Provides meal monitoring and support
• Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations
• Supports milieu including the following: de-escalation and crisis management, bathroom monitoring, monitoring outside breaks, conducts self-harm and suicide assessment, support morning routine in IP/Res programs, collects weights, vitals and urine in some settings
• Implements individual behavior management plans for some patients and serves as clinical lead for the program in standalone programs in evenings and weekends. Will lead more advanced groups (MC II)

Requirements

• Milieu Coordinator I (MC I): Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required), minimum 6 months of experience in behavioral health or related field (Required), Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (Preferred), 1+ year facilitating groups (Preferred)
• Milieu Coordinator II (MC II): Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required), minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (Required-waived with relevant master's degree), Graduate degree in mental health or related degree program (Preferred), Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (Preferred), 1+ year facilitating groups (Preferred)

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field
• Minimum 6 months of experience in behavioral health or related field (Required)
• Graduate degree in mental health or related degree program (Preferred)
• Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (Preferred)
• 1+ year facilitating groups (Preferred)

Pay

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations. Colorado pay range $21.50 - $28 USD
