Milieu Coordinator PRN

What You’ll Be Doing

• Schedule: PRN (as-needed) day shift, 7:30am-6pm.
• Working onsite at ERC Pathlight's child/adolescent residential facility in Northbrook, IL.
• The Milieu Coordinator (MC I, MC II) facilitates therapeutic groups based on core curriculum.
• Provides meal monitoring and meal support.
• Offers milieu support, de-escalation and behavior coaching to patients in Inpatient/Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs.
• The MC may be required to work on-call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Facilitates curriculum-based groups
• Provides meal monitoring and support
• Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations
• Supports milieu including the following:
• De-escalation and crisis management
• Bathroom monitoring
• Monitoring outside breaks
• Conducts self-harm and suicide assessment
• Supports morning routine in IP/Res programs
• Collects weights, vitals and urine in some settings
• Implements individual behavior management plans for some patients and serves as clinical lead for the program in standalone programs in evenings and weekends.
• Will lead more advanced groups (MC II)

Compensation and Benefits

• The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
• In Illinois, the pay range is $20.75 - $29 USD.
