Patent Operations, Senior Associate Paralegal

For our client, we are seeking a Patent Operations, Senior Associate Paralegal to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will support patent operations within a fast-paced intellectual property environment, helping ensure accurate matter setup, docketing, and deadline management. The position will partner closely with attorneys and outside providers to keep prosecution activity on track and filings moving efficiently. This is an opportunity to contribute to the operational backbone of a highly regulated life sciences organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $104,606 – $141,525 annually Responsibilities Open new patent matters in the intellectual property management system Review correspondence from patent offices and docket prosecution events Monitor attorney dockets and escalate approaching deadlines Document actions taken and maintain current task comments Coordinate instructions for PCT national phase entry and foreign filings Prepare and send foreign filing instructions to providers Generate and review IP management system reports for completeness Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent experience in intellectual property Bachelor's degree with 2 years of docketing experience Associate's degree with 6 years of docketing experience High school diploma or GED with 8 years of docketing experience Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred Benefits Comprehensive employee benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement and savings plan with generous company contributions Discretionary annual bonus program and stock-based incentives Award-winning time-off plans for work/life balance Flexible work models where applicable Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
