Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

About the Role

Crowell & Moring is seeking a mid-level associate to join our Intellectual Property practice in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Francisco or Washington, DC.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of patent litigation experience in federal district courts, including drafting pleadings, motions and briefs; managing written discovery; and conducting legal research.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
• Member of the state bar for the office to which you are applying or otherwise eligible for admission by waiver.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Highly developed organizational, writing and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing for and participating in depositions and other phases of litigation.
• Hands-on coding experience in modern programming languages.
• Technical aptitude to work effectively with complex technologies and collaborate with clients across a broad range of industries.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $320,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
