Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

About the Role

Crowell & Moring is seeking a mid-level associate to join our Intellectual Property practice in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Francisco or Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions and briefs
• Managing written discovery
• Conducting legal research
• Preparing for and participating in depositions and other phases of litigation (preferred)

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of patent litigation experience in federal district courts
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a closely related technical field
• Member of the state bar for the office to which you are applying or otherwise eligible for admission by waiver
• Excellent academic credentials
• Highly developed organizational, writing and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on coding experience in modern programming languages
• Technical aptitude to work effectively with complex technologies and collaborate with clients across a broad range of industries

Benefits and Compensation

Crowell & Moring LLP offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $320,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
