Patent Litigation Associate

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Intellectual Property practice group, where you will work on complex patent litigation matters. You will have the chance to gain exposure to cutting-edge technology disputes and take an active role in preparing and trying patent cases.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3+ years of experience in patent litigation, including district court and/or International Trade Commission (ITC) matters
• PREFERRED: Technology background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Professionalism in client interactions
• Admission to practice law in California

Key Responsibilities

• Handle various aspects of patent litigation, including preparation, discovery, and motions practice
• Conduct Markman hearings, technical analysis of products and patents, and collaborate with experts
• Defend and conduct depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
• Collaborate with a talented team to deliver exceptional service to clients
