About the role
The Patent Litigation Attorney – Class Years 2018 – 2021 position is available at AM100, located in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of patent litigation, including pre-litigation counseling, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial work.
- Represent clients in federal district court and before the USPTO.
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Conduct research and analysis on patent and trademark issues.
- Collaborate with other members of the IP litigation team to develop and implement litigation strategies.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved law school.
- Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in patent or intellectual property litigation.
- Strong academic record, preferably from a top-tier law school.
- Technical background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Post-Trial Practice and Appeal Board (PTAB) disputes or a Clerkship in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) is a significant advantage.

Pay
Annual compensation ranges from $260,000 to $390,000, based on qualifications and experience.
