Responsibilities
- Develop patenting strategies with product development teams for biopharmaceutical products
- Draft and prosecute global patent applications for Company products and technologies
- Collaborate with litigation teams to support legal proceedings
- Engage with a team of patent attorneys and support staff
- Conduct freedom to operate analyses for R&D activities
- Support business development with IP due diligence and negotiations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biological, pharmaceutical or chemical sciences
- Graduated from an accredited US law school
- Registered to practice before the USPTO
- Member of a state Bar or District of Columbia
- 5+ years of patent law experience in a law firm or corporate role
- Strong technical background in chemical or biological sciences
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
