Key Responsibilities
- Draft and file patent applications on behalf of clients
- Conduct patentability assessments and freedom-to-operate analyses
- Represent clients in patent prosecution before governmental patent offices
- Advises clients on patent law and intellectual property strategy
- Conducts patent litigation and resolves disputes related to patent rights
- Stays updated on changes in patent law and industry trends
- Affords assistance in developing and implementing IP management strategies for clients
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong understanding of patent law and intellectual property rights
- Experience in patent prosecution and litigation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
