Patent Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and file patent applications on behalf of clients
• Conduct patentability assessments and freedom-to-operate analyses
• Represent clients in patent prosecution before governmental patent offices
• Advises clients on patent law and intellectual property strategy
• Conducts patent litigation and resolves disputes related to patent rights
• Stays updated on changes in patent law and industry trends
• Affords assistance in developing and implementing IP management strategies for clients

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Strong understanding of patent law and intellectual property rights
• Experience in patent prosecution and litigation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
