Patent Agent
About the role
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as Patent Agent and at least an undergraduate degree, preferably an advanced degree, in electrical or computer engineering. Candidates should have technical experience in telecommunications, electronic circuit design, signal processing, computer engineering, and/or software. A strong academic background and excellent writing and communication skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications in the United States and internationally
- Conduct patentability searches and freedom-to-operate analyses
- Provide technical support to clients and colleagues
- Participate in client meetings and consultations
- Manage a portfolio of patents and trademarks
Requirements
- Admitted to practice before the USPTO
- Technical experience in telecommunications, electronic circuit design, signal processing, computer engineering, and/or software
- Strong academic background
- Excellent writing and communication skills

Pay
The anticipated pay range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000.
