Pendry is seeking a Pastry Cook II to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to create authentic, personalized experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the highest quality of food products for the restaurant and banquets, according to menu descriptions and hotel's standards
• Mentor Cook III and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of food products as well as sanitation standards and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level
• Regularly restocks kitchen supplies and food items along with maintaining the cleanliness of your area
• Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with skillful attention to detail
• Work in a collaborative environment all while maintaining professionalism
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• One year minimum of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel
• Luxury hotel experience, a plus

Pay

The pay scale for the Pastry Cook position ranges from $21 to $25. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and may include other factors, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
