What You'll Do
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
- Follow directions from the Executive Chef and Lead Cooks
- Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and food safety/sanitation guidelines
- Aid in prep work and ingredient deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Maintain open communication with restaurant servers and managers
- Support the culinary team in preparing for high-volume service
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as a pastry cook in a restaurant environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and multi-task
- Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs.
- Passion for food preparation and providing excellent guest service
