About the role

Nobu Miami Beach Restaurant is seeking to expand its Culinary Team with a reliable, hardworking, and professional Pastry Chef.

Responsibilities

• Performs light food preparation duties
• Preps food for cooking, including washing and chopping, etc.
• Ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff
• Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
• Works days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Basic culinary coursework or equivalent experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• One year minimum kitchen experience

Skills

• Professional speaking and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Professional dress, speech, and behavior
