What We Look For In a Pastry Cook Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of serviceExperience as a pastry cook, preferably in a high-volume restaurantAvailable to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays What You Will Do As a Pastry Cook Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables and fruitsUse a commercial food processor to puree both raw and prepared foodsOperate both convection and conventional ovens and gas rangesLift, handle, weigh, and portion pastry items accuratelyUse a commercial mixer to prepare batters and doughLabel, date, and store prepped productClean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floorsMake a daily inventory of product and write a prep list if needed About Us Since 1963, Clyde's Restaurant Group has been a leader in the DMV restaurant scene, known for exceptional guest service and fostering a positive culture for employees.
