About the Role
Create an industrial-grade visual reference set for big-screen film production, focusing on ultra-high-definition professional live-action character design. The output must adhere to photorealistic live-action photography standards, strictly avoiding anime or stylized rendering, with 8K cinematic-level detail fidelity.
Responsibilities
- Develop a Standard Turnaround Sheet featuring full-body standing views of the character from three angles: front, profile (side), and back.
- Ensure all views maintain perfectly consistent proportions, including character height, facial feature placement, and clothing folds.
- Use a clean industrial gray or neutral background with subtle physical shadows to enhance depth.
- Produce an Expression Sheet showcasing six fundamental emotional states under realistic lighting: joy, sadness, anger, surprise, fear, and neutral.
- Capture realistic facial muscle movement, including natural forehead lines, compression around the eyes, and dynamic lip changes.
- Preserve skin texture and pore-level detail in all expressions.
- Create an Action Pose Sheet depicting the character in representative cinematic motions: running, jumping, laughing, and crying.
- Emphasize gravity and dynamics, including the physical behavior of clothing (e.g., natural draping, fabric tension) and accurate muscle engagement.
- Achieve an authentic "captured-in-motion" feel.
- Maintain identity consistency by strictly replicating the reference image’s facial features, skin tone, hair texture, and body proportions.
- Adhere to texture and style constraints:
- Prohibit cel-shading, exaggerated anime proportions, or flat color blocking.
- Use neutral global illumination to ensure consistent color and visible detail across all angles, suitable for 3D modeling reference.
- Deliver a clean, organized multi-panel layout with ultra-high resolution (8K UHD) and RAW photographic texture quality.
Requirements
- Expertise in photorealistic live-action character design for film production.
- Proficiency in capturing and rendering ultra-high-definition (8K) detail, including skin texture, fabric behavior, and dynamic lighting.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, facial expressions, and realistic motion dynamics.
- Ability to maintain strict consistency in proportions and visual style across multiple angles and emotional states.
- Experience with industrial-grade reference sheet creation for cinematic applications.
