PASTOR OF YOUTH MINSITRY

The Youth Pastor at Bethany Covenant Church is a unique opportunity to lead a vibrant and growing youth ministry within a supportive and collaborative environment. This role requires someone who loves students, thrives in relationships, and is passionate about building something that lasts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the youth ministry, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for middle and high school students.
• Collaborate with the church staff to integrate youth ministry activities into the broader church life and mission.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and other church leaders.
• Plan and implement youth ministry events, retreats, and other activities that foster spiritual growth and community building.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of youth ministry programs and curriculum.
• Work closely with volunteers to ensure effective and safe execution of youth ministry activities.

Requirements

• A passion for working with young people and a desire to see them grow spiritually and personally.
• Experience leading youth ministry, preferably in a similar setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and church leadership.
• Effective planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and events.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Bethany Covenant Church.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for the Christian faith and a commitment to the mission of Bethany Covenant Church.
