Pastor needed in Donnellson, IA

About the role

The Liberty Baptist Church is seeking a full-time pastor to lead the congregation near Donnellson, Iowa. Located in Lee County with a population of around 33,000, the church offers a full-time salary but no parsonage.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship services and teach Sunday school classes
• Oversee pastoral care and counseling
• Develop and implement church programs and ministries
• Engage in community outreach and evangelism
• Preside over the church's governance and decision-making processes

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree in theology or related field
• Minimum of two years of pastoral experience
• Strong commitment to the teachings of the Bible
• Ability to preach and teach using the King James Version
• Experience with traditional music and hymnody
