We are seeking a full-time, ordained, non-Calvinist, Southern Baptist pastor for Pine Branch Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC.
About the role
The new pastor will serve as preacher, teacher, shepherd, overseer, servant, visionary, and steward of Christ’s church and its members. They will lead the church into the next season God has for Pine Branch Baptist Church.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the spiritual leader of the congregation
- Preach and teach the Bible
- Oversee the pastoral staff and volunteer leaders
- Lead in mission work both locally and internationally
- Provide pastoral care to members and their families
Requirements
- Ordained in the Southern Baptist denomination
- Strong theological background
- Preference for the King James Version
- Ability to lead mission work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Theology or related field
- Experience in pastoral ministry
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage a team
