About the role

Union Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Pastor who meets the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 and is committed to expository preaching, sound doctrine, Christlike shepherding, biblical conflict resolution, and the development of future church leaders.

Responsibilities

• Expository preaching
• Sound doctrine teaching
• Christlike shepherding of the congregation
• Biblical conflict resolution
• Development of future church leaders

Qualifications

• Meet biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Hold convictions consistent with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
• Hold convictions consistent with the 1689 London Baptist Confession
• Familiarity with the Chicago, Danvers, Nashville, and Social Justice & the Gospel statements
• Open to full-time or bi-vocational consideration
