About the role
The pastor will preach and teach God’s Word through clear, Bible-based sermons and must believe in the authority, truth, and sufficiency of Scripture, affirming the Baptist Faith and Message. He will provide spiritual and administrative leadership, work with church leaders to guide the vision and daily operations of the church, and offer loving pastoral care to our members. Our church has a strong heart for missions, and we are looking for a pastor who will lead us in sharing the gospel locally, across our state, and around the world.
Responsibilities
- Pastor the flock and lead the church in fulfilling the Great Commission.
- Preach and teach God’s Word through clear, Bible-based sermons.
- Provide spiritual and administrative leadership.
- Work with church leaders to guide the vision and daily operations of the church.
- Offer loving pastoral care to our members.
- Lead the church in sharing the gospel locally, across our state, and around the world.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Religion or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant ministry experience.
- Experience leading a church or similar organization.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Passion for missions and a desire to see the church grow.
Qualifications
- Belief in the authority, truth, and sufficiency of Scripture, affirming the Baptist Faith and Message.
- Experience with church administration and operations.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with church members and community partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
