Pasting Operator I

Responsibilities

• Applies the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help the battery to hold its charge
• Loads raw materials into machines
• Manually on and off bears materials from/to machines
• Assists operator in monitoring pasting machine function
• Performs visual inspections for quality and quantity
• Enters data into Data collector
• Operates forklift to move materials

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Two-to-three (2-3) years manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work history
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment
• Commitment to safety excellence and wearing all required PPE (including a respirator)
• Clean shaven
• Follows strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site
• Ability to lift 50 - 80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Strong team skills
