What you will be doing
Aid passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and other passenger issues in the airport. Maintain a positive attitude and offer assistance.
Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers’ documents
- Verify passengers' documents prior to boarding aircraft
- Interpret identification labels and baggage/cargo routing tags
Ensure work areas are organized and functional
- Check-in area
- Lobby
- Gate
- Baggage
Other responsibilities in the gate area
- Make announcements
- Check baggage
- Assign seats
Safety, Security, Wellbeing And Compliance
- Take reasonable care of the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and others
- Comply with workplace health and safety rules or procedures
- Follow the company's Substance Misuse Policy
What We Are Looking For
- Apply common sense understanding to follow instructions
- Use computer-based systems to perform job duties
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Show excellent communication skills
- Have a positive, can-do, upbeat personality
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
