Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties involving guest contact and delivering high standards of service in an airport airline environment
  • Must be able to communicate well in a one-on-one environment while maximizing guest satisfaction
  • Must be able to read and interpret all online and manual reference material
  • Aid guests with quoting airfares and schedules, booking reservations, issuing tickets, tagging baggage and check-in flights
  • Resolve complicated travel itineraries
  • Acknowledge and respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle passport and visa processing and inspection
  • Be well-organized, articulate, dependable, punctual, and reliable
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary
  • Communicate via radio, fax, phones in a professional manner
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support

Experience

  • Customer service experience required

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with an emphasis on self-initiation and follow through
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company grooming/uniform policy
  • Flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations

Physical Activities and Requirements

  • Speak and be understood, hear, and comprehend the English language
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Lift approximately 40 pounds
  • Relocate in the event of an emergency
  • Have a neat and professional appearance
