About the role
Austin Pets Alive! is not your average animal shelter. We maintain comprehensive, innovative programs designed to save the animals most at risk for euthanasia.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement innovative programs to save animals most at risk for euthanasia.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of these programs.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve live outcomes for animals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., animal science, veterinary medicine, social work).
- Experience working with animals and/or animal welfare organizations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Committed to animal welfare and passionate about making a difference.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
