About the Role

The Party Host Lead is responsible for supporting and overseeing weekend party operations to ensure parties run smoothly, efficiently, and according to schedule. This role provides leadership and direction to Party Hosts while serving as a key resource for employees and customers throughout the party experience. The Party Host Lead works alongside the party team to assist with setup, party service, cleanup, customer service, and administrative responsibilities.

The Party Host Lead monitors party flow, proactively addresses operational needs, and escalates concerns to the Party Coordinator or Manager on Duty (MOD) when additional support is needed.

Responsibilities

Party Operations & Leadership

  • Support and oversee weekend party operations to ensure parties run smoothly and according to schedule.
  • Assist with weekend party setup and preparation, including administrative tasks such as phone calls, emails, and preparation of party documents.
  • Serve as a resource for Party Hosts by providing guidance, answering questions, and supporting them throughout their shifts.
  • Delegate tasks and provide clear direction to Party Hosts as needed.
  • Monitor party flow and proactively identify and address issues that may impact operations or the guest experience.
  • Lead by example by actively working alongside Party Hosts and assisting with setup, party service, cleanup, and other operational tasks.
  • Ensure party areas are properly prepared, maintained, and cleaned throughout the event.
  • Work as a Party Host as needed based on staffing and operational needs.
  • Help maintain consistent service and operational standards across all weekend parties.

Customer Experience

  • Provide a welcoming, positive, and engaging experience for party guests and customers.
  • Assist customers with questions, requests, and concerns throughout the party experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns and conflicts effectively and professionally.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and take appropriate action to protect the customer experience.
  • Communicate concerns requiring additional support to the Party Coordinator or MOD.

Systems & Administration

  • Use DASH to review party details, schedules, and other information necessary for successful party execution.
  • Use DASH to troubleshoot scheduling issues and identify available options when adjustments are needed.
  • Use DASH and Toast to accurately process party checkouts and payments.
  • Complete required administrative tasks related to weekend party operations.
  • Ensure party information and operational details are accurately communicated to the appropriate team members.
  • Communicate staffing, scheduling, customer, or operational concerns to the Party Coordinator or MOD in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide direction, support, and guidance to team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing customer or operational issues.
  • Comfortable using scheduling, point-of-sale, and other operational systems; experience with DASH and Toast preferred.
  • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours based on party schedules and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, recreation, event operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Party Host or in a similar role preferred.
  • Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.

Pay

Estimated Base Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour.
