Parts Warehouse - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Aid the parts manager in managing inventory daily
• Return unused "outside purchase parts" to vendors
• Prepare for annual parts inventory
• Take messages for counter staff and parts manager
• Quickly attend to and assist both internal and retail customers in a friendly and courteous manner
• Accurately obtain and price parts and accessories, and enter information into the appropriate documents and computer systems
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously, aiming to satisfy callers
• Stock incoming inventory in designated locations
• Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized condition
• Provide customers with necessary information and suggest additional sales opportunities
• Create and manage merchandise displays to boost product sales

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency with computers and office machines (copier, credit card machine, telephone)
• Automotive experience is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Passes a drug test
• Self-disciplined and motivated to exceed expectations
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and handling parts and equipment
• Able to work in a dusty environment with exposure to various chemical compounds and paints
