Parts Warehouse Paid Internship

About the Role

Work your part-time internship in our parts department where you will learn and work at the same time on a winning team, maintaining heavy equipment and engine parts inventory for the needs of technicians and customers. We will work around your school requirements, typically following school day schedules and providing required exposure to industry business.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and packaging parts orders in the parts warehouse and inspecting pulled orders for accuracy
• Stocking of parts inventory that comes into the department
• Performing accurate cycle counts of inventory
• Performing general housekeeping duties to keep the parts warehouse clean, safe, and organized
• Delivering (on foot) parts orders to Service Technicians in the shop

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a related high-school level career-based educational program, such as Power Equipment Technology, Industrial Diesel Mechanics, Ag Equipment Mechanics, or other industrial-related programs.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/Carrying: 40 lb. lift/carry and 50 lb. pulling
• Standing/Sitting: Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
• Dexterity: Normal
• Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
