Parts Technician
Job Summary
This position provides foundational knowledge to assist with ensuring parts are available for repairs. Responsibilities include shadowing a senior team member, performing audits, submitting orders, maintaining inventory, and processing returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow a senior team member to learn parts request fulfillment and proper charging to units under repair
- Observe all Company safety requirements
- Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazards
- Conduct Cycle Counts as required
- Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel, ensuring proper quantity and condition; stock parts in proper storage locations and update information systems
Shift Schedule
Shifts may vary based on location and business needs. Full-time attendance is required, including potential outdoor work, nights, weekends, and overtime.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and weekends if needed
- Up to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to multitask
- Team player
- Basic deductive reasoning skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient active listening skills
- Proficient organizational skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Self-motivated
- Physical ability to lift above 50 lbs, bend, stoop, push, and pull
- Wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)
Pay Range
The expected starting pay range is between $19.38 - $27.71 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and other factors.
