About the role

MSX International is seeking qualified candidates to lead our bpro Parts Program Distribution Field Team. The Team Lead will build and maintain a highly motivated, results-driven sales organization representing a premier automaker to grow dealership bpro parts internally and externally. This role focuses on constructing market and account plans, collecting and disseminating real-time account/competitive information, leading analytical assessments, and driving business results.

The position is remote and may require travel throughout the continental US. The bpro Parts Program Team Lead will report to the MSXI Director and Mopar Aftermarket Account Team Leads responsible for Dealer representation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a national automotive parts sales and distribution program through the dealer network.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain top automotive wholesale parts personnel.
  • Act as the primary client liaison for the assigned project.
  • Coordinate communication, manage assigned resources, and report to Executive Management.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Produce reports, scorecards, and other deliverables, including hands-on analysis.
  • Track project deliverables, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Manage project data accuracy, timeliness, and overall work product; set up and execute QA processes and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with client teams to meet project-level financial goals, estimate resource requirements, and assess staffing effectiveness.
  • Develop content in accordance with client CI, contractual obligations, and project direction, including tools, guides, and presentations.
  • Negotiate and manage client commitments and expectations.
  • Monitor program objectives and provide critical performance feedback.
  • Drive team performance to satisfy and exceed program goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate performance vs. expectations and implement processes and measures to drive performance.
  • Ensure sales, market, and competitive information is recorded daily.
  • Work closely with the client to provide weekly market feedback and sales performance summaries.
  • Provide analysis for ad-hoc executive management reporting.
  • Manage program Profit & Loss.
  • Provide regular financial and program reviews with the client’s management staff and MSX International Senior Management.
  • Manage project-level compliance of contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery and management teams and the client for project transition and stabilization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in the automotive aftermarket or wholesale environment.
  • Professional analytics experience necessary to identify opportunities, trends, and anomalies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly interpersonal with team-building and participative management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • High level of proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or minimum of five years of equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive operations: Dealership, Fleet, Installer, Collision, Automotive Parts Distribution, and aftermarket parts & service departments.
  • Basic understanding of automobile repair and technology.
  • Prior Program Management experience required.
  • Ability to maintain professional-level communications in English and any other languages as required by the project client.
  • Ability to execute outlined FCA program components such as training, reporting, marketing, group facilitation, and product demonstration.
  • Capability to formulate business decisions based on logical reasoning and offer solution-based outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a business environment with limited management oversight.

Skills

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

Additional Information

Physical Demands: The bpro Parts Program Team Lead must possess the physical capabilities necessary to accomplish assigned tasks, including multi-day travel, extended periods of physical activity during training seminars, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without sustaining injury.
