Parts Specialist Counter

Job Summary

The Parts Specialist Counter will be responsible for excellent customer service, extending optimal customer care and concern, and performing tasks at the parts counter such as receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, processing paperwork, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. They will also perform related warehouse duties including accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses.

Job Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of which should have been in a mechanical parts environment
• Knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/Carrying: 40 lbs., lift/carry and 50 lb. pulling
• Standing/Sitting: Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
• Dexterity: Normal
• Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
• Noise Level: Usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
