Parts Shipper and Receiver - Nissan Cary

About the role

Leith Nissan of Cary is seeking a Parts Shipper & Receiver to join their team. In this role, you will assist customers and technicians in determining the correct parts for their needs, manage parts inventory, process orders, and ensure efficient distribution of parts and freight within the dealership and to external facilities.

Responsibilities

• Scan and sort incoming freight, dispersing to appropriate departments or associates.
• Download incoming orders, enter them into the employer’s computer system, and match them with parts inventory.
• Accurately fill wholesale orders.
• Obtain parts from manufacturers, outside vendors, or other dealers as needed.
• Deliver parts to body shops and repair facilities.
• Pick up parts and equipment from local vendors.
• Receive FedEx, UPS, and DHL packages and disburse as specified.
• Sort and label incoming parts and store them in inventory.
• Put away stock order parts in bins in numerical sequence.
• Attend and complete required training and department meetings.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements

• Understand basic automotive components and systems.
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
• Any automotive certifications are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Possess a valid in-state driver’s license.
