About the role
Koenig & Bauer is the oldest global printing press manufacturer, known for innovative technology and tailored print solutions. Products printed on their machines are found in everyday items like US currency and packaging in grocery stores.
Responsibilities
- Plan and assign technicians to work orders based on availability and skill requirements.
- Organize travel, parts, and tools for technicians and prepare them for assignments.
- Oversee service work orders from order receipt to completion, coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide technical assistance to employees and customers, identifying parts and solutions.
- Review and price parts and services, communicating with factories and customers.
- Communicate with Service Management on out-of-standard issues and escalate problems.
- Collaborate with NA management and customers on pricing, technical assistance, and billing disputes.
- Handle escalated customer issues and drive process improvements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in operations within the printing or packaging industry, or similar service and parts experience.
- Basic computer literacy with e-mail, internet, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.
- Understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM.
- Strong project management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow company guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED-equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in operations within the printing or packaging industry, or similar service and parts experience.
