Pape’ Kenworth, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Sales Counterperson I to join our team in Federal Way, WA. About the role

As a Parts Sales Counterperson I, you will be the go-to parts expert for customers maintaining and repairing class 7 & 8 diesel trucks. You’ll engage with customers face-to-face or over the phone to identify their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure they receive the right parts promptly. Using product literature, specialized software, and your growing knowledge of parts and diesel trucks, you’ll offer accurate solutions and build lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with customers to identify their parts needs and provide recommendations.
  • Use product literature, specialized software, and technical knowledge to offer timely and accurate parts solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person to sell parts and services.
  • Build trust and lasting relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Verifiable parts counter experience or applicable mechanical/service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of parts inventory.
  • Self-motivation and assertive drive.
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Above-average organizational skills.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, with some Saturdays.

Pay

$21.19–$31/hour (depending on experience).
