Parts Runner

Primary Responsibilities

• Transporting parts and materials between locations.
• Picking up parts from suppliers, delivering parts to technicians, and moving items within the facility.
• Aiding in inventory control by checking stock levels, verifying deliveries, and ensuring correct logging in inventory systems.
• Coordinating with various departments to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, deliveries, and receipts.
• Scheduling regular maintenance for the delivery vehicle and reporting any issues to management.
• Addressing any issues that arise during deliveries, such as incorrect parts, delays, or logistical challenges, and finding solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Providing excellent service to internal and external customers, ensuring their parts needs are met promptly and accurately.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic knowledge of automotive or machinery parts.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy parts.
