Parts Route Sales Driver - La Grande, OR

About the role

This position focuses on the safe and efficient delivery of parts, while concentrating on positive customer engagement, issue resolution and growth.

Responsibilities

• Efficient parts delivery to customers on a designated route utilizing a delivery vehicle.
• Responsible for sales activities that build strong customer relationships on a designated route.
• Field order processing.
• Issue resolution.
• Customer training.
• Transitioning customer to Excelerator ordering.
• Management of vendor inventory programs.
• Growth.
• Proficient use of tools and technology including dispatch systems, tablets, phones and our customer relationship management tool.
• Other duties as assigned such as shipping, receiving, general warehouse work.

Requirements, Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable and have a clean driving record.

Skills

• Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups.
• Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Job Conditions

• Physical Demands: Requires repetitive bending, frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 lbs., sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, stretching. Must be able to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.
• Environmental Demands: Mostly indoor and outdoor in seasonal weather conditions. Some noise while working around operation departments.
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
