Responsibilities
- Clean parts using chemical degreaser, parts washer, and power washer.
- Perform deburr operations to customer specifications using various air tools and equipment.
- Apply and remove Born Nitride.
- Assist with airflow inspections as needed.
- Analyze and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products meeting or exceeding customer specifications.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Operate overhead crane when necessary.
- Document actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
- Demonstrate ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.
- Perform other duties to support company goals, vision, and mission.
- Take ownership and accountability for actions, ensuring reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Trade school certification in automotive refinishing/repair is a plus.
- Experience in the same or similar field necessary.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a United States Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Physical Demands

- Oscillate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout scheduled shift.
- Routinely reach, twist, bend, and grasp.
- Periodically operate an overhead crane.
- Perform under AS9100 standards.

Pay
$19–$26 hourly wage.
