Parts Manager – Service Manager – Service Advisor
About the Role
Reynolds and Reynolds is looking for experienced automotive parts and/or service professionals to join our consulting team. As a consultant, your primary focus will be to establish professional relationships with customers and help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable. You will work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas and use established consulting programs and industry knowledge to solve these issues. After project completion, you will follow up with customers to maintain relationships and provide ongoing support. This is a high-travel position requiring overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week.
Responsibilities
- Build professional relationships with automotive dealership customers.
- Identify inefficiencies and trouble areas within dealership operations.
- Apply proven consulting services and industry expertise to resolve issues.
- Follow up with customers post-project to provide ongoing support and problem resolution.
- Drive consulting services sales through trust and demonstrated success.
Training
Training consists of approximately 90 days in the field with experienced consulting and sales representatives, online courses completed from your home office, and classroom instruction at our Dayton and Houston offices. During training, your compensation will be a $60,000–$63,000 base salary. After the 9-month training period, you will be eligible for quarterly bonuses, with total targeted income exceeding $80,000 (including base and bonuses).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
- 5+ years of automotive dealership experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Manager, Service Manager, or Fixed Operations Director.
- Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
- Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
