About the role
American Implement is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead, grow, and optimize the high-performing parts department at our dealership in Leoti, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Creates annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives.
- Develops and executes Parts Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
- Conducts a perpetual/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
- SUBMIT ALL PARTS WARRANTY AND RETURN CLAIMS WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME FRAME TO RECEIVE MAXIMUM CREDIT.
- Maximizes use of all order discount programs.
- Recruits, hires, develops, and retains key talent.
- Maintains all department tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in Parts Department operations required.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Internet.
- Experience leading and working cooperatively in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written).
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.

Physical Requirements

Compensation
- Base annual wage of $58-75k, depending on experience
- Eligible for quarterly incentive
- Cell phone allowance
- Relocation assistance may be offered based on geographical location
